Lee Daniels: Producer of The Woodsman

Although Damon Dash put up some of the money for the controversial film The Woodsman, Lee Daniels actually produced the film. Daniels is the man who made history by producing Monster's Ball and becoming the "first solo African American to produce an Academy Award-winning movie." Although Lee Daniels is known for producing and directing strong and somewhat difficult movies, he hopes his next big project as a film producer will be a musical called Ladies Night with the diva cartel of Missy Elliot, Macy Gray, Alicia Keys and Beyoncé.
