This is truly old news but it’s now official because retail outlets are finally listing Fat Joe’s upcoming album with a new name and release date. The album formerly known as Things Of That Nature will be released April 26 as All Or Nothing. According to a month old article the date was pushed back, for at least the second time, “due to some wheeling and dealing” and the name was changed because Fat Joe “felt his career and the climate of rap were taking such a serious turn.”

Obviously those explanations are totally meaningless on their own and, if you see more background on that topic, please let me know. I’ll have to say the new title seems much more cliched than the old, which at least had enough ambiguity and sexual innuendo to provoke a smile. Plus, it’s not all or nothing for Fat Joe by any means unless there’s a much bigger story that hasn’t made it out, which I think is unlikely.
