Though I really have mostly given up aggregating, I think it's important that I note business deals even when I'm not going to say more about them. I'll try to make that more of a weekly thing, rather than a periodic deluge like today.

DJ Clue joins UrbanWorld Wireless as UWW's Ringtone A&R Director. I know people have been fulfilling A&R functions for ringtones but has anyone been named a Ringtone A&R Director before?

Free & AJ will no longer host BET's 106 & Park. Supposedly this was their choice and AJ has announced that he will open a restaurant called Mahogany in Brooklyn.

Topps has signed a deal with Jay-Z for exclusive use of his image on trading cards and related promotional material. He'll also get a Rookie Card, a Relic Card and an Autograph Card in the 2005 Basketball trading card releases.

International Enterprise will handle Blokhedz' international licensing. An animated feature of the Blokhedz comic is under development.

MySpace.com will be a sponsor for The Industry Jumpoff, an entertainment industry networking event in LA.
