Gold Digger Still No. 1, Korn Debuts Rap Supergroup?

Kanye West’s Gold Digger featuring Jamie Foxx is still holding strong at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart as well as the Hot Ringtones, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Pop 100 and the Hot Rap Songs charts. However, some sort of rock band has taken over the top spot on the Hot Digital Songs chart where Gold Digger is now no. 2.

Other rap tracks in the top 10 of the Hot 100 are Bow Wow’s Like You at no. 4, My Humps by the Black Eyed Peas at no. 5 and David Banner’s Play at no. 7.

Young Jeezy’s Soul Survivor featuring Akon moved up to no. 8 while Juelz Santana’s There It Go (The Whistle Song) is the top debut in this week’s Hot 100, even though it enters at no. 88.

Also in the Billboard Hot 100, Korn’s Twisted Transistor is currently at no. 97. Though Korn is doing the smart thing and leaving rap rock behind, the video for this single features Lil Jon, Xzibit, Snoop Dogg and David Banner playing the part of Korn members. Hmmm, a supergroup of hip hop stars called Twisted Transistor? You heard it here first!
