Hip Hop Tops the Billboard Hot 100

Hip hop and hip hop related singles take the top 5 positions on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart starting with Chris Brown’s Run It featuring a brief appearance by Juelz Santana in its third week at no. 1.

In spots 2 through 5 are the following singles in order:
Kanye West’s Gold Digger, the Black Eyed Peas’ My Humps, D4L’s Laffy Taffy and Young Jeezy’s Soul Survivor featuring Akon.

Juelz Santana’s There It Go! (The Whistle Song) continues its rise from no. 19 to no. 11 while Juvenile’s Rodeo debuted at no. 93.
