Not to be outdone by other producer/actor/rappers, Kanye West is set to executive produce and appear in a still unnamed flick inspired by his music. The movie is described as a “multiperspective portrait of the United States” with perspectives provided by Kanye West plus 6 writers and 10 to 12 filmmakers.

However, don’t get it twisted. The film won’t just be a bunch of music videos, oh no. The creators “will craft short stories, not music videos, that will be linked by a central narrative” and, according to one of the other producers, “will synthesize Kanye’s vision with a fantastic group of filmmakers and create what will be a one-of-a-kind film experience.”

You know, starring as Kanye seems like the perfect role for West but, since he views himself as the peak of human accomplishment, it raises the question of whether or not he could then every appear in another movie without feeling let down.
