I’m not even sure I want to fully understand this contest hosted by "Shorty K" but I feel it’s my duty to share it with you, dear readers.

Update: Sterfish adds some Chicago context regarding Moo & Oink describing earlier commercials as having an "upbeat, R&B flavor" and including details on specials in a combination that he describes as "endearingly cheesy as opposed to annoying."
Although, I think I could get annoyed at these ads, I did find myself willing to listen to all of them most of the way through. Partly I was fascinated by the details of available meats in the context of some fairly well crafted songs and I understand now that the writers were building off a tradition.
I’m going to hold off for the mixtape to make my final judgement!

Did you listen to some of the winners?

WOW is right! I didn’t have time to check them out before. All I can say is moo and/or oink!
I’m mad I didn’t know about this sooner. Moo and Oink is pretty much the place to buy meat in Chicago and it caters to a primarily black/urban clientele. Their commercials, whether radio or TV, are hilarious. Damn, the theme song is in my head right now.
“Moooooo and Oink!”
Thanks for the local perspective, Sterfish!
