Suge, You’re Puzzling Me

I can’t figure out what’s up with Suge Knight’s refusal to appear in court.  If he’s got some tactic or strategy in process, I certainly can’t imagine what it would be at this point.  The only possibility I can come up with is that his hidden assets are at such a level that he would rather protect those than continue a legal battle that he appears to have lost.

Of course, this situation seems to be another one that will get the IRS’s attention.  By the way, whatever happened with that $6 million tax bill?

    Its over for Suge.
Looks like Petey Pablo won’t be releasing new music anytime soon.

  2. Clyde Smith says:

Given all the artists whose recordings Suge sat on, this development might get Petey’s next album out a lot sooner without him having to break his contract and go to another label.
Good luck to all those artists still stuck on Death Row.

  3. Why Go Gentle Into That, Suge Knight?

As Clyde noted, it’s hard to figure what Suge Knight i dthinking right now.. (What remains of) his empire is crumbling into dust and he’s not lifting a finger to stop it. Is this a Sharpe James move, calling it quits because he knows he’s whooped once …

  4. janice says:

Petey will never release an album under Death Row… or if by some fluke it an album is released, it will go unnoticed, and won’t make a dime!

  5. Slav says:

Death Row hasn’t been about being a record label for a while. It’s a front for a criminal enterprise … what’s so hard to figure out?
