Jay-Z American Gangster Commercial

I’m not sure what that line from the commercial for Jay-Z’s American Gangster album really means unless they are truly going to play it like Jay-Z was once big time in the drug trade and that’s what led him to being bigtime in the music industry.  I guess that means I’m going to actually have to find out some details since I’ve always assumed he was just grinding and that’s the illegal equivalent of working at Burger King.

Nevertheless, it does seem like Jay-Z’s artistic process of buying into such fantasies of criminal kingpin action has gotten him to a much more fun place than all that manufactured Kingdom Come excitement.
