Lupe Fiasco to Sue Vibe for Fiascogate Article

Lupe Fiasco says he will sue Vibe for defamation of character for their recent Fiascogate article that now bears the disclaimer:
Note: The interview with Lupe Fiasco regarding his feelings about Tribe and Midnight Marauders was conducted prior to his Hip Hop Honors performance. The article should have made clearer that Lupe Fiasco was responding to statements he'd previously made, not his Hip Hop Honors performance.

That is different because people were pretty shocked at these statements as a response to this incident but I think those folks would be shocked anyway.

good grief, can you imagine the Prohiphop coverage if XXL did something like this?

Clyde Smith

Made a mistake and then corrected it immediately?

I don't know. What do you imagine, little one?

Clyde Smith

Tell you what. If anybody at XXL ever gets around to apologizing or admitting to any mistake and posting that on the site and it involves threats of litigation from a well known artist and lots of blogger buzz, then I'll get right on it and we'll find out.

Actually seeing someone at XXL admit error would be a pretty amazing thing.

Maybe I'd cover that too.

good grief, can you imagine the NahRight coverage if XXL did something like this?

My honest critiques of SOHH, Vibe, and XXL didn't stop any of them from offering me jobs. Eskay, you can stay trill without becoming a shill.
