Albums: Radiohead's In Rainbows No. 1 in US/UK

Radiohead - In Rainbows album

Radiohead - In Rainbows

Radiohead's In Rainbows, probably the most discussed rock album on hip hop blogs in 2007, takes the no. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart soon after taking the top spot in the UK.

Top 10 Albums on the Billboard 200:

1. Radiohead - In Rainbows
2. Alicia Keys - As I Am
3. Mary J. Blige - Growing Pains
4. Now That's What I Call Music 26
5. Taylor Swift - Taylor Swift
6. Chris Brown - Exclusive
7. Garth Brooks - The Ultimate Hits
8. Soundtrack - Juno
9. Colbie Caillat - Coco
10. The Eagles - Long Road Out of Eden

On a personal note:
One of my New Year's resolutions was to listen to more albums in 2008.  I tried listening to a streaming version of In Rainbows.  After the fourth song I was so incredibly bored that I just shut it off.

That's one of those reasons I don't do album reviews anymore.  It requires listening to whole albums no matter how much I personally feel they suck and then playing the debased role of music critic.

I just don't see the appeal in my doing that.
