Pras Michel is holding an Eventful competition to bring his documentary Skid Row and Pras to five cities for special screenings.

I might say something more about that but I’m diverted by the ridiculous press release headline that gets bogged down in somebody’s obsession with claiming to be the "First-Ever User Generated Film Screening Competition" which is a buzzword stretch given that there are currently 2627 demands for "movie" though a lot of them look like sp@mmy marketing efforts.

Not that the press release actually addresses the topic of the headline.  In fact, it’s a decent release but the headline is opportunistic in a silly manner which is unfortunate given that Skid Row is an interesting project.
