Rumor: Def Jam $100 Million in Debt, Needs Hits Now!

MahoganyGirl has been informed that Def Jam is in serious financial trouble:

"Sources says the founding Hip Hop label is almost 100 million in the hole. 100 Mill son! The insider says Def Jam needs some BIG selling records ASAP to start decreasing the labels debt."

Looks like Jay-Z got out just in time.

Comments

Off all those sales, anyone wanna guess just how many taxes he's payed? Perhaps now is the perfect time for the IRS to place an audit on Def Jam, and make him pay up. He doesn't have it, jail time is just.

Perhaps if he'd make better crap, people would be more interested in buying his stuff, to keep him outa his legal and financial obligations. Pay up loser.

Now, now. Harsh critique is one thing but accusing a former drug dealer of tax crimes is really hitting below the belt, don't you think?
