The Cool Kids’ single 88 will be included on the Major League Baseball 2K8 videogame soundtrack.

The placement comes through a deal between 2K Sports and Pitchfork Media in which Pitchfork picks half the tracks.

Though the Cool Kids won’t be part of the 3rd Annual Pitchfork/Windish Agency SXSW event, this year including 2k Sports, they will be making multiple appearances at SXSW.

The Cool Kids are gonna be big but I guess "how big?" remains the question.  However far they go it’s already been fun to watch.
