Lil Wayne's First Week Sales a Fabrication?
Adam Bernard makes the case that first week sales for Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III were "phonies":
"When I heard the final tally I had visions of Rick Ross and Jay-Z, both of whom were given a sizable sales boost by virtue of their own label picking up a large number of their albums to create inflated numbers."
He then degenerates into meaningful discussion about de-emphasizing sales figures and focusing on the music. As if!

Shocking! lol

This was a nice read and the truth is that the longer an album is worked the more the album sales, Neyo had that strategy with his second album and it worked Fergie was a great example of that, she had so many singles and her album just stayed in that top 10 for a long time, work your album and your album may work
