Batman: Gotham Knight

Don't know when I'm going to get to see The Dark Knight but I'm currently watching Batman: Gotham Knight which is a series of shorts by different animators related to the period between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

So far it's well worth watching though I like the interesting depictions of Batman more than the particular stories.  But it's been fun and I look forward to seeing the rest.

The Animatrix

If you like this sort of thing, I'd also recommend The Animatrix, a series of shorts by different animators related to The Matrix films with some writing as well as oversight from the Wachowski brothers.
