Doofus Marketing: The Game Kills G-Unit, Attacks Jay-Z

I admit I’ve only been reading headlines and brief summaries of articles about The Game’s attack on Jay-Z.

There is no real reason to follow the details unless you find them really entertaining, which I don’t, but I can understand why folks find it all somewhat hilarious.

The Game has absolutely no leverage to attack Jay-Z.

Jay-Z’s done this plenty of times and doesn’t have to do much at all to win as he’s shown us before.

And we’ve all seen the "I killed G-Unit" phrase connected to The Game.

G-Unit killed themselves and we all watched.

Since those are the two big messages I’ve seen online coming from The Game prior to the release of LAX, I guess we’re about to see the effects of doofus marketing on album sales.

Of course, if the album bombs, that would have to be considered a suicide, arguably another theme of The Game’s pre-release marketing strategy.
