Forbes: 50 Cent Gets Money, Wants African Mines

50 Cent is Queen for the Day in Forbes' hip hop business special.

In addition to a profile, he gets the video treatment PLUS a slideshow featuring his management team, though this additional material was produced back in June.

Hey, where's 50's content stealing web dude?  I thought he was really important.

Anyway, back in reality, 50 Cent has quite a business history and now he's going for platinum, real platinum.

As Barry Williams, 50 Cent's brand manager, states:

"The financials of the music business have changed to the point that we have to find ways to make money in other places...I didn't think six years ago when we started trying to sell music that we'd be selling VitaminWater and shoes and clothes. Now we're moving into other directions, and four or five years from now, it's exciting to think about us looking at natural resources and raw materials and other businesses."
