T.I.'s Whatever You Like Takes Record Leap to #1
T.I.'s single Whatever You Like takes a historic leap from no. 71 to the top of the Hot 100 singles chart giving T.I. his first no. 1 as a lead artist and beating out Maroon 5's Makes Me Wonder which jumped from no. 64 to no. 1 in May of 2007.
The track debuts at no. 1 on the Hot Digital Songs chart and his "opening-week digital sum is the best by a rap track since Nielsen SoundScan began compiling download data in 2003".
Kardinal Offishall's Dangerous featuring Akon moves up from no 7 to no. 5 while M.I.A.'s Paper Planes holds at no. 6.
