So 50 Cent’s reality show The Money and the Power ain’t happening and I’m not overly surprised though I did expect the show to go on.

MTV Networks’ VP of entertainment, Brian Graden said:

"Our new shows will feature themes of affirmation and accomplishment…Our shows are going to focus less on loud and silly hooks and more on young people proving themselves."

I personally am not into the humiliate people on their way up approach.  I think it’s a punk move by people in power.

And when I saw 50 in one of the promo clips responding to a guy who wanted to start a sports website by challenging him to do pushups it made me realize that this was going to be a trivial enterprise on top of being abusive.
