Taylor Swift's Fearless Ties 50 Cent's Massacre at #1
No big new releases this week and that's not just in hip hop. The top 10 on the Billboard 200 album chart mostly reshuffles as Akon's Freedom joins the party.
However, Taylor Swift's Fearless is f*cking with 50 Cent's legacy becoming the "first album to spend six weeks at the top since 2005, when 50 Cent's The Massacre logged its first six frames at the summit."
First Kanye and now Ms. Swift? All I can say is, Em and Dre better pull through or it's all downhill from here for Mr. Cent.
Top 10 Albums on the Billboard 200:
1. Taylor Swift - Fearless
2. Nickelback - Dark Horse
3. Kanye West - 808s and Heartbreak
4. Beyonce - I Am ... Sasha Fierce
5. Soundtrack - Twilight
6. Britney Spears - Circus
7. Keyshia Cole - A Different Me
8. Jamie Foxx - Intuition
9. Now That's What I Call Music! 29
10. Akon - Freedom
DJ Skribble's Total Club Hits 2 "debuts at No. 16 with 20,000" units moved. Wonder why they didn't put his name on the front cover?

Taylor Swift's record is going to be a monster. She has the country audience AND the pop audience.
Her stay at the top further proves my theory that when push comes to shove people like artists who can actually sing.

As opposed to rap or as opposed to fake ass "singing" with various gizmos and studio tricks?
I have to say I haven't even heard her but I should watch a video or something cause being good looking makes a singer a lot easier to listen to!
