Ok, so yesterday I turned on E! and saw the show ” Candy Girls. ” It totally sickened me. That show is the epitome of everything that is wrong with Hip Hop. I kid you not, they called these women ” The Queens of Hip Hop ! ” This show is about Video Girls and has nothing to do with Hip Hop whatsoever. I just felt completely irrate while I was watching. It’s sad that women like them get a TV Show and are glorified for being classless and promiscuous. My view is, instead of giving a bunch of Video Hoes a show, why don’t they give Hip Hop Artists a show. I figure if they are going to capitalize and get rich off of being the bottom feeders of the industry, why don’t they give the people that need a TV Show more than them ( up & coming Hip Hop Artists )??? I modeled professionally for over 11 years. It’s insulting to call these Video Girls, Models. They are not models. They would never book a real modeling gig. If any of these women stepped into a casting for Ford or Elite Models, they would be kicked out the door instantly. You would never see any of these women walking the runways in Milan or in a spread in Vogue Magazine. This show is a ghetto mess, and gives women a bad name. I’ve worked in the Hip Hop Industry for years and shows like Candy Girls gives women that are REALLY working in the Hip Hop Industry a bad wrap and reputation. What has the world come to when we glorify sluts? I’m not saying that all Video Girls are whores but about 99% of them are. Believe me I’ve been on the sets of plenty of video shoots and I’ve witnessed what these women do. I’ve seen them go into bathrooms with the artists and all of the artists’ friends and have sex with all of them at the same time just to get ” camera time ” in the video. I don’t get it. Why don’t they give the hard working women in the Hip Hop Industry their own show. I know plenty of hard working women in Hip Hop that do more than put on a thong and shake their ass for camera time and $200.00. These women should be ashamed. Hip Hop Artists DO NOT respect these women, they are the laughing stalk of the industry, they are considered the ” Jump Off. ” What goes through these women’s brain? Do they think these artists are going to marry them and have children? Lol. No one wants a woman like that, especially to marry. I know they are looking for a way out of the hood, most of the time, and they think if they sleep with the Artists, maybe they’ll get lucky and get pregnant or maybe they will marry them and be set for life. I wish they could see what the Artists and Industry people really say about them. They are the lowest on the todom pole. I give this show 2 thumbs down and think people shouldn’t watch it. If you love Hip Hop, support HIP HOP! Don’t support classless women that have an agenda. They are the demise of Hip Hop. They actually said that without them there wouldn’t be Hip Hop . They also stated that they are responsible for making millionaire’s in the Hip Hop Industry. ( Like the Artists had nothing to do with making their careers successful, and some Video Hoe did ). I’m not against all women that do videos and I know some of them are legit, but that is only a select few out of hundreds of thousands. Don’t support classless women. Because at the end of the day when they take off their weave, fake eyelashes, fake nails, and painted on makeup, they are just the average hoodrat from around the way. The 4 Elements of Hip Hop are Emceeing, DJing, Graffiti, and B-Boying. Not Striping, Whoring, Sucking , and *ucking. Women like that should not be celebrated, they should be ostracized. And to all the people that may think I’m being harsh to these women this is what I would say to all the Video Girls…If you want respect to be shown to you…RESPECT yourself.

first of all i loved the show i love to see young women makeing it.everyone has there own opinon regardless of how you get it you getting it daniells not telling to sell there ass shes just makeing sure they take care of there business the right way.she tells terrika to control her attitde,she even told brook to show less cleavage etc…. it pisses me off when people go after these girls yes they are models they are VIDEO models they arent doing anything differnt from you maybe they dont want to be runway models so who are we to judge them.no im not a video vixen why becuase i choose not to be key word CHOOSE.YEA you may have some that probably go the extra mile thats them some of these girls become actors this is just a stepping stone for them.Your saying just becuase they do videos there not classy its a job laughing stock are not they are getting paid so rather you or who ever dont like it,it is what it is.LIKE KATT WILLIAMS (SAY IF U GOT 6 HATEING ON YOU TRY TO GET 7 )CAUSE BELEIVE IT OR NOT IF SOMEONE HAS SOMETHING TO SAY YOU MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT.LOVE THE CANDY GIRLS DANELL KEEP STACKING YOUR PAPER BE STRONG HOPE YOUR BUSINESS STAYS SUCCESFULL AND KNOW MATTER WHAT IT IS FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS.TERRIKA ITS OK TO BE TOUGH BUT LISTEN TO DANIELL BECUASE IN THE LONG RUN YOUR JUST GONNA HURT YOURSELF!
I’ve seen 2 episodes, and seeing Terricka and Brookes attitute is Horrible. Danielle should FIRE them, Business is business, and she can get other professional and beautiful models. I hate so called models with DIVA attitudes. Not everyone in the business will want to work with Terricka and Brookes attitude!! And they should stop picking on the other 2 girls! Danielle is a great businesswoman, but you have to get rid of the 2 diva attitudes. And Terricka is not the only one that has to support her child, she needs to readjust her attitude.. She has NO class!
I like the show, but I can’t stand Terrika’s ugly attitude and her loud mouth. She acts like her ass can’t be replaced. She’s like ya average hoodrat…but I’m watching her ass on TV instead of on the street. Her loud mouth will be her downfall. I like Olivia and Blanca, and especially Danielle, cause she’s a business woman…You GO girl. She’s intelligent and when she speaks, people listen because she’s articulate and ambitious (Unlike gum poppin’ neck rollin’ Terricka). It would be nice if there was a show that was actually about the artists, but the video models play a big role (like it or not…it’s hard to come across a video without them)…principals do get PAID…so they must be in demand.
I like this show alot. I think Danielle has a great buisness but personally i think that Terrika is a fucking bitch. She is only going to bring Danielle down with that additude of hers. Noone is going to call her for bookings if they know she has a girl with a bad additude. I think danielle would be better off with out her there are alot of really great girls out there dont jepardize ur Money by having someone that does nothing but bitch.. But besides that its great!! But you Go Danielle get it girl.. Your going to go far just get rid of that stupid self centered, nasty additude, thinkin she to good for everyone Bitch! =)
I love this show. I am in the music world as well and I am in an up and coming female rap group. I think that Danielle is so on point but she has a few people that she do need to adjust. Terricka attitude sucks but no one has held her accountable. Olivia need to stop being a follower to make the other girls like her. Walking off the shoot was unacceptable. Blanca is not innocent because she blames Phoenix everytime Blanca is disrespectful. Her assistant is using their friendship as a crutch when she messes up. I wish I could work with Danielle. I will show her professionalism at its best. I also like April, the stylist. She is mad cool. Brooke is ok.

I personally like the show.the show is reality. all the girls are pretty in their own way. Im not a hater. anyone who say that the show is fake is a trip. because if the oppurtunity was given you will take it possibly. Danielle gain respect for me how she try to keep a good name for her company. however i can only speak for what i see and hear on TV. keep up the good work girl. honestly i must like the show because posting comments online is not my thing. but i hope all the girls much success

she should grow up and stop acting like a spoil girl and show some respect to Danielle,she is a good person and know matter what heppen in the business Danielle try so hard to talk to the girls just to make sure the business is going on,Danielle you don’t need anyone to bring you down Terricka and Brookes think they own you,Girl let them go and you will get a better person.

the show is ok. brooke is cool.i hope she is not promiscuous and olivia the sensitive one should not be a video candy girl. she is a bit too classy for this kind of show.i hope her boyfriend can guide her. maybe she should get into acting.but the loud mouth one with the child is pretty but too ghetto. this is her thing she looks the part and is only interested in the dough.i guess having a child makes her that way. any way snoop dogg should have been danielle.the show would be more interesting!
