Hip Hop PR Wire on Hold, ProHipHop Network Rebooting

Hip Hop PR Wire is on hold due to the difficulties of bootstrapping on a shoestring in a recession.

Since press releass were simply a starting point, not the long term focus, and paid services were coming down the line, i.e. this was ultimately not to be an ad supported venture, it's disappointing to have the collapse of advertising taking it out of commission.

That said, Hip Hop Press is back in growth mode with the following channels in place with additional feeds and subscription options to follow:

Hip Hop Press Releases
Music Industry Press Releases
RnB Press Releases
Urban Arts and Fashion Press Releases

I now have time to deal with the fact that Typepad changed many things close to the New Year and communication continues to be problematic though they seem to be trying. Let's just say it's a one hand giveth, other hand taketh away situation as per usual.

Nevertheless, with that situation resolved for the moment, I am cleaning up a wide range of loose ends and bringing renewed life and focus to the ProHipHop Network as a whole.

We'll see how long I hold out but I'm refocusing everything on what's clearly working and what can survive as a side project if necessary.
