Colin Munroe – Piano Lessons f/Joell Ortiz

I didn't realize how much Colin Munroe has been working with rappers till I saw the press release about his tour with Wale and then checked out his MySpace page.

It's basically an R&B model from a pop/rock musician, right? Anybody else doing this? I guess I'm just out of the loop but this is a pretty interesting development. What a long winter's nap!

Having studied a bit of piano myself I'm digging the Schirmer's Library references in some of his graphics.
