Russell Simmons Defends Wyclef and The Yele Foundation
Positive approach but doesn't really address the financial documents. As he notes, there's a lot of problems with nonprofits. We should be exposing those as well, not using them as excuses for more sloppy nonsense.
Having heart doesn't feed people and everything Russell mentions Wyclef proposing I'm reading about other people already doing. I hear what he's saying about the people trusting him but, right now, if you've got food and water or offer medical care, they're more than happy to trust you.
At the end of the day, Wyclef's good intentions are beside the point. When people are dying, it's really not the thought that counts.

“When people are dying, it’s really not the thought that counts.”
Now THAT’S a statement that should be up EVERYWHERE!
Thanks! It would look good up on the wall!
