I love this ish and I'm really enjoying watching the jerk movement emerge and pick away at old tired visions of what hip hop should be. These kids don't need your rules and guidelines.

Eric Ducker at Pop & Hiss did a nice overview of some of the groups and how they're building. It's from way back in the summer but it's pretty darn useful if you're trying to sort things out.
