The movie Just Another Day releases to DVD/digital download July 20th. This looks like it may actually be good. Putting real actors in the lead roles makes a huge difference.

Just Another Day tells the story of Young Eastie (Jamie Hector, "The Wire", "Heroes"): a rapper who dreams of getting his first record deal. Willing to do almost anything to get his signature on a contract, he is thrown into a harsh business that accepts and destroys on a whim…He hopes to get a deal through his hero, the legendary A-Maze (Wood Harris, "The Wire", Image Award™ winner, Remember the Titans). But A-Maze is facing problems of his own: he feels his place at the top slipping, and he will use anyone to stay there – even Young Eastie.
