Why Put Out a Press Release With No Websites Listed?

I can't even comprehend taking the time, trouble and money to put out a press release of any kind without including at least one relevant website.  I understand if it has really big stars in it that one may think such newfangled approaches are unnecessary but, uh, wait a minute.

I don't understand it at all.  Don't even bother trying to explain.  You'll just look like a relic from the past or a clueless child of the present.  Take your pick!

Sir that is such great observation of very basic rule these days. I am currently working as a Public Affairs person (PR Guy) for the military with a forward deployed unit. It is so difficult to get some of the stodgy old public relations people for the government to accept such newfangled ideas. When I am home, I also teach English for broadcast journalism as well as public relations and I also stress the need to keep current with new concepts and techniques, so I just wanted to say thank you for sharing REAL information. Bless…

Yeah, I bet the military is a very constraining place for someone in PR to work. Hang in there!
