Yesterday Hennessy announced the Hennessy Artistry 2009 Tour "curated" by Common and The Roots.

Dollicia Bryan "will visit markets in DC, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Ohio, and Texas."
"Bryan got her start appearing in Fat Joe's video "If I Was Your Man" and has since gained popularity through cameos in videos by Bow Wow, Ne-yo and Omarion. She has modeled for Black Men Magazine, King, Show Magazine, and XXL , and has appeared on the big screen in films including "1100" and "See Dick Run"."
Angelica Curves
Angelica Curves "will visit markets in Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania."
"An accomplished presence on the small screen, Angelica has been featured in music videos for artists including Gloria Estefan, Fat Joe, Fuego, Lil Wayne, Nina Sky, Pitbull, R. Kelly, and Snoop Dogg. Additionally, she has been a fixture on programming for Telemundo and mun2, and was featured in the film "The Last Hustle" directed by Antwan Smith. She has also modeled for several publications, including Black Men Magazine, Hip Hop Weekly, Maxim, and Smooth Girl Magazine."
Melyssa Ford

Toccara Jones

"After gaining recognition as a contestant on "America's Next Top Model", Jones signed with legendary modeling agency Wilhelmina as a plus-size model and has appeared in campaigns for Avon, Ashley Stewart, Rocawear and Target. Hennessy is launching a new cognac blend called Hennessy Black with the support of Swizz Beats and The JabbaWockeeZ.
The "limited launch" will hit "10 markets throughout the US including Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, New York City, Ohio, Washington DC and Massachusetts":
"The launch is being supported by traditional and non traditional advertising including out of home media and digital initiatives all communicating the key "Done Different" strapline....Hennessy Black has collaborated with an eclectic mix of performers on projects ranging from dance, music and video that reflect the premium mixability of the product. This includes a collaboration with...Swizz Beatz that resulted in an original song, "When I Step Into the Club"..."
"The JabbaWockeeZ of "America's Best Dance Crew" fame will perform live at a star-studded black carpet launch event in New York City on May 5, where Swizz Beatz will join on stage to perform the original song for the first time."

Key to the campaign is the new Swizz Beats song, When I Step In the Club, with a video directed by Hype Williams and a related dance contest:
"Last week, professional dancers surprised club goers in four major markets when they performed an original "UP/DOWN" dance routine to the new Swizz Beatz song. Following the dance, consumers were handed an all-black business card that directed them to the Hennessy Black website, where they could check out the new Swizz Beatz video and original song, drink recipes and in the coming weeks, videos of consumers creating their own "Up/Down" dance."

I just got a somewhat sp@mmy MP3 blast topped off with an ad for Ciroc Vodka and The Diddy, a drink using Ciroc Vodka that is somebody's attempt to recoup some of the anticipated value of the Diageo deal with Diddy.
As Diddy stated:
"It is not an endorsement deal...This is something that will have my daily attention."
They are getting so totally reamed. I actually feel kind of bad for them cause this seemed like one of those rare no-brainers that would have a real payoff.
Anybody seeing anything in print or on tv for The Diddy or other Ciroc/Diddy combos?
